Sustainability has become a big topic in the last years, for good reason. Waste in the textiles industry, created in part by "fast fashion" and our love of all things cheap and new, has become a mountain of a problem.

We have made the choice to source any new fabrics we use through manufactures who have recycling programs in place and use organic materials, materials that require less water and pesticides, renewable fibers and where possible, are GOTS or OEKO-TEX certified. Our suppliers are local to the Lower Mainland where possible, and all items are sourced from within North America. We are continually in a state of growth and change and will always do our best, even if it costs a bit more, or takes a bit longer, to be mindful of our impact on the environment.

Orders will be packaged and shipped in packaging that is fully reusable or recyclable, and where possible, made of post-consumer materials.

One area that we have struggled to locate sustainable products is snaps. At this time we have been unable to locate any recycled plastic or alternative snap materials. Instead, we chose to spend our money wisely and choose KAM snaps. KAM is a USA based family-owned company with wonderful values. If you are interested in learning more about them, feel free to visit their website

Additionally, we are offering *UPCYCLED* products, these exciting products are made from new and like-new garments and fabrics to reduce textiles waste in landfills. Items in the *UPCYCLE* section will be one-off patterns, colours and prints, so if you see something you like, grab it! We may never be able to get that colour or pattern again.
